For the last two years I have acted as an examiner for OCR History GCSE, AS and A Level. I have extensive teaching experience both at school and university levels. While I was completing my PhD at University College London, I worked as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at UCL teaching US and Latin American History and a core course teaching students how to write History at a university and academic level. I have also worked for UCL Outreach offering taster History summer schools to sixth formers considering studying History at university. Furthermore, I have prior experience working at a school in Purley mentoring students in public speaking as well as experience of teaching English to groups of Spanish-speaking children aged between 5 and 16. I have participated in UCL's teacher training programme as part of my PGTA job and am CELTA qualified.
