Education

I currently study at Amsterdam University College, with an average GPA of 3.8. My major is Physics, with a minor in programming. The program I study (Liberal Arts & Sciences) requires that I take a wide range of subjects, which means that I have taken courses in Biology, Chemistry, Spanish, Chinese Culture, History, Philosophy, and Logic, alongside my core subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Programming.

Experience

I have tutored ages from 7 - 27 in maths, logic, programming, physics, and English. Previous students: -- 3 students who were Retaking GCSE maths Grade changed from E->B, D->B, and C->A* -- Logic Course at University, final mark 72% -- 5 children and 2 interested adults who were either in school, or otherwise not taking exams I enjoy tutoring as a different environment from teaching. I believe that in small group (or individual) tutoring it is important and achievable to teach in a very personal way, which benefits learning greatly, and makes the tutoring process much more interesting on my part.

Hobbies

Besides mathematics and science, I have a keen interest in food and travel. I have been in Amsterdam for a year now, and before arriving here I travelled around South America for 5 months. I have WOOFed (Work On Organic Farms) around Europe, and plan to do more of the same this Summer. I maintain, fix, upgrade and sell bikes, and when I can, I take the weekend to cycle. I also play bass guitar in a band that mostly does funk covers.
